 Verified A great tour with lots of fun on the boat and in the water We booked a four-hour boat tour with Matt and had a truly fantastic time. He was in a great mood. We had an incredible amount of fun, and Matt not only showed us the most beautiful spots in St. Tropez (with fascinating stories about the places and some celebrities), but also let us try everything—whether it was wakeboarding, snorkeling, or tubing. He made all of this possible even though the sea was pretty rough that day. The tour through the harbor of Port Grimaud—the “Little Venice”—was a wonderful way to end the day.  Verified Heerlijke dag op het water in de golf van st tropez. Een top ervaring. Matt is heel vriendelijk en verteld leuk en veel over de omgeving.   We booked a 2-hour private boat tour with Matt that we absolutely loved. Matt was super nice and an absolutely top-notch guide. He showed us lots of spots and told us a lot about the area, different houses, and yachts. We also had the time for swiming in a nice Bad. He was super nice to our kids and answered all the questions they had. We never felt like we had to rush back or that we were under any pressure. Next time, we’d just book more hours. Both we and our kids were absolutely thrilled—not just by the trip itself, but by Matt.  Highly recommended and definitely worth the money.

 Verified Bay of St Tropez Boat Trip - Fantastic, Definitely Recommended A fantastic boat trip around the Bay of St Tropez. Lots to do, including waterskiing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, tubing and snorkelling, and Matt has all the kit available on board. Matt is very flexible about the trip, and is also very engaging and welcoming and has a very nice comfortable boat. There were only 3 of us on the trip, but ample room for more. The trip allows you to view areas of the Bay of St Tropez that you would never see unless on the water. There’s time for stops in secluded areas of the bay with swimming and snorkelling, then water-sports in the bay, and sightseeing from the water including a tour of St Tropez harbour and Port Grimaud (which is a totally different perspective by water!) Communication with Matt to plan the trip and arrange the meet up was excellent. I would strongly recommend a trip with Matt. Please note, TripAdvisor lists the trip as Cogolin, but it is available from St Tropez, Pt Grimaud and St Maxime (we started and finished at St Tropez).

He gave us a tour of the beautiful Saint Tropez bay, plus water sports (snorkeling and paddle boarding). During the whole tour, Matt was professional, accommodating and super fun.  Verified Private boat charter with water sports We booked a four hour private boat charter with Matt for 6 adults. Prior to the date he contacted us to let us know we might want to adjust timings as the weather wasn’t looking ideal which turned out to be a great shout as we missed rain and thunderstorms. Matt was obviously keen for us to get the most out of our trip. He provided expert advice which meant we all managed to be successful and enjoy our first wakeboarding experience. He was extremely patient, encouraging and chilled out. We did some snorkelling and jumping off the boat in St Tropez before finishing off with us all enjoying twin donut rides. Matt chatted to us about the area and the boats in the bay and overall was a great host and guide, and we all had a fantastic time. We will definitely do it again when we come back!  Verified Highly recommended! Great service! This morning Matt picked us up at the beach close to our house. Our dog ‘Summer’ was allowed on the boat and had a great time. Matt showed us a number of big Yachts close to the port of Saint Tropez, then took us to Billionairs Bay, did some diving close to the villa of Brigitte Bardot.  Verified An absolute must-do in St. Tropez!! Absolutely amazing! This was for my son’s 17th birthday and we were a party of 5. Matt was the perfect captain offering all the watersports you could want. Even my youngest (11 years old) was out on the donuts!!  Verified Fantastic voyage around Gulf of St Tropez Matt has a very calming presence which multiplied our enjoyment of this boat excursion around the bay.   SO FUN! Captain Matt was great. He's very friendly with a good sense of humor. He gave us good information about what we were looking at from the boat but didn't talk the whole time, which was nice. His boat is clean and comfortable. Not too small. Lots of seating. We brought wine and cheese on board. He had a cooler for the wine, as well as cups and a corkscrew. Bring a towel if you want to swim. He’s also flexible on locations and will take you where you want to go. Our 2 hours flew by! Highly recommended. My husband and I loved it.

 Verified Best part of our trip! This was by far the best thing my husband and I did on our trip to the South of France! Matt is incredibly communicative and understanding — there were high winds on our original planned date, so he worked with us to reschedule and even accommodated a different duration. Sirio (our guide) was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He customized our excursion based on what we wanted to see and do, and we had such a wonderful time. This is a great way to see and get acclimated to St Tropez while taking in all of the beauty! We’ll be back!

 Verified Family fun and great service! We spent an amazing morning in the Bay of Saint Tropez! The program has been flexible and adjusted to our wishes. We tried out wakeboarding and wakesurfing for the first time. Matt is a great, patient and encouraging teacher. The teens also loved the ride on an inflatable.  Verified Unforgettable moment We had a pleasant time sirio knew how to adapt and respond to our requests. We were able to swim and observe the fish. And a passage with stop at grimaud port. And finally the arrival of two dolphins who made us the chow in the Bay of St Tropez while our teenagers made a buoy ride. Sirio was able to get closer and we were able to observe them.  Verified Great half day! Many thanks to Sirio for the 4 hours spent with him. We were able to define the half-day schedule between our wishes and everything Sirio knew. So we were able to go to the bay of Saint Tropez, Sainte Maxime, Port Grimaud... Breaks for swimming, paddling, drinking. And a final towed buoy for our teenagers that they will remember for a long time! Sirio is very friendly, he adapts and does everything he can to meet your expectations, thanks to you!  Verified A wonderful day out at sea! We had the most amazing time journeying out to see Saint Tropez and the neighboring bays. Sirio our captain and guide really took his time to share his knowledge of the historic city and took us to two different areas where we stopped to enjoy some paddle boarding and snorkeling. The day and sea was beautiful! Sirio was the absolute best host and even ended the trip with a recommendation to a wonderful restaurant which we ate at that evening!  Verified Highly Recommend!! This was one of the best charters we've been on! Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to tour the Bay and enjoy a number of water sports. From snorkeling, to tubing, to standup paddle boarding, to wake boarding and water skiing, this charter had it all. Best yet, it's all flexible to your interests.  Verified Awesome boat day with the best guide! Awesome day out on the boat. Matt was an awesome guide. Super chill guy. Let us have some beers, play music, etc. He is also very informative. He gave us some interesting facts around the whole St. Tropez area. His boat is also full of paddle boards, tubes, wakeboards, etc. which makes the day out on the water that much more fun. We craved for more so he was able to meet us super early the next day for more wake boarding! The teens loved it all.  Verified Excellent day out!! Fantastic experience, I would strongly recommend! We had a really great host in Sirio, who treated the five of us to a brilliant few hours on inflatables, our first time waterskiing, and a tour of the bay. We set off from Marines De Cogolin, which is great as it’s easy to find, not busy and there is plenty of parking. We could choose where to spend our time, and felt very confident in Sirio and the equipment. The boat was a good size for the five of us, and had everything you could need for a day in the water.  Verified Wakesurf me up (before you go-go)! An awesome day out with Matt wake surfing, tubing, and touring the sights of St Tropez bay. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to the mistral winds that churned up the sea for a week, and appreciated Matt’s flexibility in scheduling us in. We were 7 people - 2 adults and 5 teens - and everyone had a great time. With Matt’s patience and support all of us got up on the wakeboard (some the first time!) and we all managed to stay up and enjoy the wave. We toured the ‘Venice of Provence’, Port Grimaud, and then Matt brought out the biggest tube I’ve seen - like a giant sofa that seats 4 people - up and down the bay. The teens loved it, and all too soon our half day was over. Matt showed nothing but professionalism and care - ensuring safety, but also a ton of fun. Highly recommend a day out with him if you’re looking for a great time out on the water!

  We had a fabulous time with Matt! We took 4 young children and 4 adults and went to some great little spots to snorkel and paddle around. Saw all the cute ports and the kids had a great time!  Verified Wonderful experience and definitely a trip highlight!! My daughter and I decided to do a boat tour while visiting San Tropez.  We initially planned to book with a much larger private boat, but after reading reviews we decided this would be a more fun, personal experience.  We definitely made the right decision!!!  Sirio was personable, friendly and informative. It was a very hot sunny day, so he used the boat’s Bimini and also obliged our request to swim in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea two different times during our tour.  He engaged in lots of helpful conversation but was not invasive at all, making us feel right at home.  We learned so much about this beautiful place and had a much needed relaxing day.  Verified Amazing and affordable boat rental!! We traveled to St. Tropez for a short weekend with friends. Our experience with Matt was unbelievable! Easily our favorite part of the entire trip. He gave us a great tour and our friend was even able to wake board for a little bit. He stopped the boat for us whenever we wanted to jump in and really let us run the itinerary of the trip. We packed snacks and wine. Matt provided cups, ice and a bottle opener. We wish we could have extended our time on the boat because it was so much fun. If we are ever back in St. Tropez this is the very first thing we would book again! No need to look any further for a boat rental- book with Matt! You will not be disappointed.

 Verified Expérience incroyable Magnifique moment avec Sirio qui a été vraiment super! Il nous a montré plein de beaux endroits, a sorti tout son matériel pour que les enfants puissent tout essayer : plongée,  paddel, bouée tractée... franchement rapport qualité/prix pour tout ça, ça en vaut vraiment la peine.  Verified Ein mega Highlight nach dem anderen... Mit dem Super Air Nautique über das Wasser speeden (allein das Geräusch macht süchtig), Port Grimaud besichtigen (wunderschön am Morgen), auf dem Meer Luxusjachten umkreisen (die sind viiiel größer auf dem Wasser, beeindruckend), Wake-Surfen (fantastische Welle, macht riesig Spaß!), mitten im Meer schwimmen, in den Hafen von Saint-Tropez einfahren (sieht so viel schöner aus), in einer Bucht relaxen - ich konnte mir nicht vorstellen, wie genial das alles ist, ein absolutes Highlight löst das andere ab.  Meine Frau und ich haben jede Minute unseres Ausflugs mit Matt genossen, 120 % Weiterempfehlung. Schwimmsachen, Kopfbedeckung und Getränke (Matt hat eine Kühlbox an Bord), Smartphone für Fotos und Film einpacken. Viel Spaß!!!!

 Verified Amazing wake surfing I’ve been out wake surfing with Matt 2 years in a row now and have just booked to come back out again in September.  It’s such a fun activity and much easier than wakeboarding.  Matt is a great instructor, gives lots of feedback for correct feet placement, and making smaller adjustments to improve and stay up on the board for longer.  Highly recommended 10/10

 Verified Wonderful wake surfing experience with Matt Matt took my wife and I out on his boat in May for my first wake surfing experience, and it was absolutely fantastic!The boat is great - it's spotless and inspires confidence! Plus Matt is a great teacher. He really knows how to communicate his knowledge and he's got multiple wake boards on the boat, so whether you're a beginner or a more experienced rider there's a board that will allow you to take full advantage of the experience. Add in the beautiful bay of Saint Tropez and you've got the recipe for a wonderful experience. We'll definitely give Matt a call if we're back in the area. You should too!

 Verified Great evening on the water in Saint Tropez for the whole family We were in Saint Tropez with our children and my wife’s parents (80+). Matt was an excellent host and guide, and made everyone feel at home. We had a lot of fun with diving and paddle boarding, and then in the evening we went to eat at a restaurant in Saint Tropez’s “little venice”. All in all a lovely evening that we will remember for a long time. Warmly recommended!

 Verified I’m hooked on wakesurfing & wakeboarding thanks to Matt’s amazing ability to coach & infectious, inspiring energy! 🏄‍♀️ I first went wakeboarding with Matt as a total beginner a couple of years ago. He taught me so much and after a few attempts, I got up and then went more often. I live here, so I wanted to find a place I could go to frequently. I got better and better at wakeboarding and then he got a purpose built wake surfing boat. I’d never even seen one before. It’s now a year since I started and I am doing really well, thanks to Matt’s amazing coaching. I have brought a lot of my friends along with me when they visit me on holiday and have recommended him to so many other friends who come down here regularly who have holiday homes and they have all come back and thanked me for the recommendation. The bay of St Tropez is stunning and it’s an amazing backdrop for your photos to take home and show your friends. I’ve added some photos and a video which represents how good it is.

 Verified This was the highlight of our holiday Matt, the skipper of our boat, is a fantastic instructor. This was our first time trying wake surfing and we both got up on the board on our first session. Amazing! His boat is purpose built for wake surfing to create the perfect wave which makes all the difference. Plus the wide selection of boards Matt has, caters for all abilities. Booking Matt and his boat for 2 hours allowed us to take a tour of the bay and the port of Saint-Tropez after our wake surfing session. A brilliant morning.  Verified Best wakesurfing in the area 10/10 would recommend! Not easy to find wakesurfing in the area but we found Matt on instagram and booked wakesurfing with a group of friends. The conditions were a little choppy but he made sure it was safe for us to go and it ended up being absolutely fine.

 Verified If you only do one thing do this I’m not one to write reviews in general but I’m taking time to acknowledge this great experience. Matt the owner is very responsive and our guide Sirio was flexible, friendly and relaxed. We are family from US here with adult children. We didn’t bring infant grandson but we could have. Unlike in US where tours are often prescribed with waivers, mandatory life vests, etc, the atmosphere was much more reasonable, all about: what would you like to do. We wanted to explore and do a little swimming and paddle boarding, so that’s exactly what we did. We didn’t know the area and finished with a much better sense. It seems that if you want a festive outing with friends, this could be that, but it could also be a serene and intimate cruise. As a group of 3, we were very comfortable, but a much large group could easily fit. They have a cooler and water on board, you could bring a picnic or stop for a quick bite to eat at one of many waterside eateries. If you’re not sure what to do in the area, do this!

  Matt is such a good guide. We took a private trip on the Super Air Nautique which is a great boat for a group trip around the bay, and to try some wake surfing. We were all complete novices and Matt showed us how to do it all in such a friendly way. There was even a coolbox for the drinks we brought as well! Would thoroughly recommend.

 Verified A great boat tour and wake surfing experience Matt was an excellent guide. We loved the Super Air Nautique boat, it was perfect for complete beginners to get to try some wake surfing. And the tour of the bay and Port Grimaud really helped us orientate ourselves. The boat itself is comfortable, there was even a cool box for drinks that we'd brought with us. Definitely bring a swimming costume so you can get a chance to get in the water. Would thoroughly recommend.

 Verified Just wow!!! Where do I start…we booked Adventure Sports St Tropez for a four hour trip out into the bay and surrounding marina’s. What a great morning of sight seeing, wakeboarding (I’m too old) and donuts (I’m also too old). Our ‘skipper’ Matt was very patient and knowledgeable and provided a great chilled out trip…worth every euro….would highly recommend!!!!!

 Verified Come for the boat, stay for Matt This was a SPECTACULAR experience!! We had a rough night before and Matt was so accommodating and friendly. They gave great recommendations for things to do in Saint Tropez as well. They let us pick where we wanted to go and what to do on the boat. We tubed and paddle boarded and they were so fun!  Verified Wir haben die Tour mit... Wir haben die Tour mit unseren 2 Töchtern (7+6) gebucht. Das Team war wundervoll und ich denke die Bilder sprechen auch für sich. Am Anfang haben wir gas gegeben und auch super viele Infos von Matt bekommen was sehr interessant war. In den 4 Stunden haben wir aber auch entspannen können und alles einfach wirken lassen. Die Lebensfreude der Jungs ist einfach ansteckend und wir konnten auch wählen was wir gern machen würden. Joker am Ende war die Donut Fahrt für die Kinder. Können wir zu 100% weiterempfehlen!  Verified Perfect Tour We did a private 2 hour boat tour of the bay of St Tropez with Matt and Sirio and we absolutely loved it. Matt was extremely easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and he was very flexible with our booking schedule as we had to modify the time due to weather. They were both very friendly and gave a good tour during the trip, pointing out key viewpoints and facts of interest. We asked to swim in the bay and they docked in the clearest water. Lastly they took us to Port Grimaud which was the most beautiful little port town. Loved the tour and would 100% recommend.

  Had such a lovely day out with friends. Matt, our skipper, was excellent. The water was quite rough the day we were out but he found a quiet bay for some paddle boarding and swimming. Even when we hit rough seas I felt safe and it made for quite the thrilling ride. Lovely and fun way to see the St Tropez bay and have some fun. Highly recommended.

On the way back Matt offered us to try out a bigger boat for the tubing. We 100% recommend you booking a tour with some friends or family ! My teenage girls were wakeboard beginners but with some great tuition (and patience) from Matt managed to have some great runs and even I managed to get up and have a couple of good runs before wiping out, so the coaching must have been good :-) The girls then had a lot of fun on the doughnut and we all had a lovely time in "Millionaires Bay" swimming, snorkelling and using the SUPs. My wife loved the scenery and the relaxed pace of the day, whilst having the chance to admire some of the biggest super yachts from up close on the water. Matt was such a kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful host and really nothing was too much trouble for him. We ended the trip being dropped off at a pontoon and and picked up by the restaurant's own launch at the excellent Plage des Graniers for a lovely lunch. Would 100% recommend Matt and his Adventure Sports St Tropez team and we will definitely be back for another trip in the future.

 Verified 100% recommend Matt for a boat tour! Our boat day with Matt was the highlight of the trip! Cruising around the beautiful Med, seeing all the yachts and millionaire's homes was very fun and exciting. Exploring the canal village and paddle boarding were a blast! We brought our own lunch and beverages on board and Matt was very accommodating. We had  been in the South for a week so we stuck to the water instead of hopping off in any of the towns, but he will customize the trip just for you so be sure to ask if you want to stop off at a beach, cafe or restaurant!  Matt was a wonderful host and we'd recommend his services to anyone! I really regret not learning to wakeboard! Thank you Matt!

  We booked our wakeboarding session with Matt in a group of 5 this morning. Had such a blast we didn’t want to get off the water anymore.  Verified Kayaking in Port Grimaud - Such Fun! I had made a spur of the moment booking for my son and me to go kayaking for 3 hours around Port Grimaud.  This was primarily to entertain my 13 year old but I ended up enjoying it immensely!From the beginning, Matt's communication was excellent.  He followed up my booking not long after by phoning me and sending directions to the exact meeting spot.  We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon.  Matt really made this adventure for us.  He is so friendly, a great conversationalist and a fantastic guide/tutor.  He really put us at ease.  While my son is experienced with kayaking, I am not and Matt was calm and patient with my errors.  He looked after us very well while also giving us space to gain confidence.  We were wowed by the buildings and houses along the route. Our destination was a tiny little beach surrounded by restaurants.  We refreshed with a delicious ice cream from an ice-cream shop and saw a group playing boules before we set off on our return.  The experience was such great value price wise, well worth it.  Port Grimaud is just beautiful and kayaking like this was so unique, the perfect way to see it.  I would highly recommend Adventure Sports.  I'd love to return.

 Verified Fantastic Matt has a wonderful way with making you feel relaxed around the boat and in the water. I went out on the Monday and fell in many times although Matt kept encouraging me to keep going. A few days later my next session and I was up and running loving my time and Matt was just excited as me.  Verified Fun and thrills at St Tropez We enjoyed a fab late afternoon with Matt exploring Port Grimaud, St Tropez and the bay. We snorkelled in clear waters and once the breeze had waned we went on the Ringo for some wild fun in the sunset. Matt gave us such a fun time and we'd thoroughly recommend it to others.  Verified Simply one of the best days we’ve ever enjoyed… I landed on their webpage almost by accident, and as it turned out, it was a very happy accident. I dropped an email to them, and within a few hours I got a reply from Matt who is to be our host for our trip. My first question was would our two dogs be welcome, and I was delighted when he said yes (once we explained that they could both swim and they were reasonably well-behaved spaniels) more of the swimming dogs later! Directions where to meet the boat were sent, and where we could park and at 10 o’clock this morning we met Matt at the appointed place, bang on time. The boat was great, comfortable and accommodating, and as there was only the two of us (plus the dogs) very spacious. We had taken along some kit which as it turned out wasn’t necessary, because the boat comes with all the necessary for waterskiing and wave boarding, as well as paddle boards. First stop St Tropez harbour. Matt dropped us off to give us time to walk round the port and visit the market. Once we were ready to leave I simply phoned him and he came back into the port to collect us from exactly where we have been dropped off. Then it was back out into the Gulf. A visit to Millionaire Bay for a quick swim, and then we were moving again. This time to a bay whose name I can’t remember, but we dropped anchor right outside Bridget Bardo’s house. The house is nothing to write home about, but the bay is stunning. Swimming and paddle boarding. The first in the water was one of our dogs, who didn’t even wait for the boat to stop, bailing at 5 miles an hour! Matt had the patience of a saint with the dogs, and easily able instructed us in how to fail with dignify on the paddle boards! After catching a few rays, all too soon it was time to start the return journey with a pleasant cruise all the way back down the Gulf to Port Grimaud. A wonderful guided tour ensued including all the places that the normal guide boats don’t visit, and a few good recommendations on where to eat thrown in. All in all, a fantastic day, a fantastic host, and I cannot recommend his services and this company’s services highly enough. Whatever your budget for your holiday, set some aside and spend it here. The only reason I didn’t give them 6 out of six, it’s for some reason TripAdvisor doesn’t go above five. Obviously they’ve never seen Spinal Tap!

 Verified Exciting and fun day out for sporty groups Excellent trip, we had a great 1/2 day on the boat with lots of opportunity to see the sights and enjoy the water sports. Matt and the team do a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable on board. We were a group of six plus our dog, everyone enjoyed wakeboarding, paddle boarding( with the dog) and the twin donut. Highly recommend for sporty families or sporty groups.

 Verified Stellar Experience & Kind Service Put simply, Matt is WONDERFUL. My friends and I visited Saint-Tropez for my 50th birthday and booked a private charter. Matt was courteous from booking months early until we arrived—even when our chauffeur caused us to be nearly an hour late. He recommended great things to do at each port and knew so many interesting facts about the Riviera when it became a popular tourist destination. Matt was knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic with my teenage daughter as it was her first sea wakeboarding experience and she loved it. Would highly recommend getting out on the water to soak up the views and see much more of St Tropez than you can see by car. We had a magical time seeing the super yachts, sailboats and waterfront properties. Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to swim up to the gorgeous beach bar for light refreshments too.  Verified Half Day Water Sports & Pleasure Boating - Amazing! Don’t hesitate to book this bucket list outing. Matt had great enthusiasm and patience with my teenage daughter and husband for their wakeboarding experience. They loved it and felt relaxed, safe and well trained on what to do. Matt is obviously highly skilled at water sports and we would love to do this again. Both our daughters took the paddle boards provided in a quiet bay outside some celebrity houses (no spoilers)! We loved hearing snippets about the houses. Despite the slightly choppy water further out this area was perfect for the boards. Matt is happy to tailor the trip so do chat about what you would like to see and do. We thoroughly enjoyed a quick tour of St Tropez Port then we cruised around the super yachts and sailboats docked at sea. Matt took us to Millionaires Bay where we opted to swim the short distance from the boat to the beautiful beach bar for light refreshments. The girls enjoyed jumping off the boat and some snorkelling while we floated around. It was easy to use the ladder to get on and off the boat if anybody is like me and doesn’t jump! There’s a gorgeous restaurant on the beach itself if you want time off the boat.We ended our time cruising around Little Venice through the various narrow boat lined pretty houses and under the Italian style bridges. Matt was knowledgeable throughout educating us on French life and interesting facts. He was good company, offered to play music, we actually opted for French Classics to soak up the atmosphere while the girls paddle boarded. Communication prior to the day was great, Matt helped with parking info etc.We would definitely book again as you couldn’t not enjoy this experience. The boat was immaculate, larger than I expected, it had loungers and seats, the shade was useful too. There were only four of us so we had lots of room for our flippers etc. We spent the morning around the port, ate at L’Opera then met Matt for the boating- a perfect day we’ll never forget. From a very beginning level, Matt could teach me how exactly to waterski with the correct technique and safety precautions so well that within 30 minutes I was able to mono-ski and after 45 minutes feel confident mono-skiing.  Verified Amazing day! We had an amazing time with Matt. He was very helpfull, funny and a good wakeboard instructor. Unfortunately for us the wind was quite strong and made it difficult to wakeboard but Matt entertained us anyway in different bays with snorkeling, paddleboarding and kneeboarding.  Verified Great Time Highly recommended.  We spent four hours out on the water with Matt, and it was a great way to see Saint-Tropez and area.  We set out without really an agenda other than to get out on the water, and Matt was totally flexible.  We saw a lot of the sights from the water: Saint-Tropez, the "canals" of Grimaud, stopped in Sainte-Maxime to pick up a bite to eat, swam a bit, paddleboarded, and just generally cruised around.  It was a bit choppy when we were out and Matt was very conscientious not to get us tossed around, which we appreciated (though as former boat owners we would have been fine).  All in all, it was a great way to spend a few hours, we would highly recommend it.

 Verified Ein Muss in St.Tropez Wir waren eine Woche in St. Tropez und das war definitiv unser Highlight der Woche. Zum einen war Matt ein sehr aufmerksamer Gentlemen welcher nicht nur sehr gut erklären konnte , sondern auch auf alle unsere Wünsche eingegangen ist und die Bucht von St.Tropez auswendig kennt, sodass wir noch als Touristen etwas mitnehmen konnten. Wir haben Wakeboarding,Schnorcheln, Schwimmen und Stand up Paddeling gemacht und jede einzelne Sekunde genossen. Außerdem hat uns Matt die Stadt von Grimaud gezeigt, welches mit seinem Boot überhaupt kein Problem war, denn er war immer mit Leidenschaft dabei und hat uns sicher an jeden einzelnen Ort gebracht. Wir werden definitiv nächstes Jahr wiederkommen und wir freuen uns auf eine erneute Bootstour mit Matt!

 Verified Eine der besten Urlaubserlebnisse - ever! Diese Tour gehört definitiv zu den besten Aktivitäten in St. Tropez - absolut genial. Wir waren zu viert (das Boot ist groß genug für 2-6 Personen) und starteten (bei bedecktem Himmel, trotzdem Sonnencreme nicht vergessen) um 12 Uhr. Die Kanäle von Port Grimaud sind nett und es macht Spaß, gemütlich durchzufahren, die Häuser und Leute anzusehen. Dann gibt Matt richtig Gas (ich hätte nie gedacht, dass sein Boot so schnell ist) und wir sausten durch die Bucht, genossen die Geschwindigkeit auf  dem Wasser und umkurvten die herrlichsten Schiffe. Die SS Delphine, das älteste Steamboat, kreuzte majestätisch die Bucht, wunderschön. Nun kam die Sonne raus, glitzernde Gischt und das azurblaue Meer. Dann fuhren wir Richtung St.-Tropez und im richtigen Moment wurde vor dem Senequier ein Anlegeplatz frei - mit großem Auftritt nahmen wir einen Café (oder einen Rosé) und bereiteten uns auf den grössten Moment vor: Wasserski fahren. Hat von uns vorher noch keiner gemacht. Ich bin weder trainiert noch besonders sportlich, aber mit der super Erklärung von Matt schaffte ich es (halbwegs kräftige Beine sind hilfreich) und stand auf den Skiern! Mein gut trainierter Freund machte es noch viel besser und bekam mehrere richtig lange turns hin. Wir waren total geflasht und vergaßen Aufnahmen zu machen. Danach ging es nochmal mit richtig Speed an St.-Tropez vorbei zur Canebier Bucht, sahen uns verrückte Villen an (genau in dem Moment landete ein Hubschrauber bei der Octopussy-Villa) und genossen diese wahrscheinlich schönste Bucht und die Badeplätze, die man nur mit dem Boot erreichen kann. Nachdem wir auch von dort die schönsten Eindrücke mitgenommen hatten, ging es langsam zurück. Die vier Stunden waren wie ein langer Tag voller großartiger Erlebnisse. Wir fühlten uns total wohl bei Matt, mit dem wir super gerne unterwegs waren.Tipp: Port Grimaud ansehen, aber nicht anlegen, dafür lieber die Zeit mit Wasserski oder in der Canebier Bucht verbringen.Alternativen: keine - ich habe die Bateaux verts Touren gemacht, das kann man nicht vergleichen. Mit deinem eigenen Bootscharter bist du mittendrin, fühlst das Meer, kommst überall an die unzugänglichen Stellen hin. Ich komme seit vielen Jahren mehrmals im Jahr hierher, dieser Trip ist wirklich einmalig. Dafür geht der Preis mehr als in Ordnung, zumal inklusive Wasserski-Kurs!

 Verified An amazing, must do, activity in St. Tropez! I booked this experience with Matt as a surprise for my partners birthday and I was not disappointed! Right from the beginning the communication with Matt was great. He had loads of ideas and suggestions and was very flexible about times, days (and the weather!) to ensure we had the best possible experience.He was a great tour guide as well as teacher for all the activities. It was also really easy for my partner (who’s French) to follow all the instructions etc. I’m not sure we could have asked for more - boat tour, wakeboards, snorkelling and a lovely lunch at Les Graniers.  Verified Boat trip + picnic+ snorkelling. Yesterday Matt took us on his boat for a trip around The Bay of St Tropez. The boat is very roomy, comfortable and superbly equipped.  He was so obliging and nothing was too much trouble.  He dropped us off at Les Graniers for a drink before taking us further around the bay, where we had a very relaxing picnic on the boat. Sunbathed, followed by some snorkelling with the latest equipment.  We will certainly be booking Matt and his boat for future excursions and water sports activities.  Highly recommended.

We called at the Granier Beach Bar to have a drink at their great waterside bar then anchored in the bay to enjoy our picnic and do some snorkeling off the boat.  Verified Solo traveller & Adventure Holiday I went on this holiday as a solo traveller hoping to meet people like me who wanted fun and adventure and thats exactly what I got. I made such good friends and got to try different sports that I wouldn't normally have the chance to do.Every day was different as we did wake boarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, beach volley ball and tennis.Matt was fantastic and made sure we were all getting the most of our holiday and hes very easy to get along with and made us all feel welcome.The accommodation was great and location was awesome. I would definitely recommend this type of holiday to anyone who wants to try something new and up for some fun.  Verified Awesome way to see Bay of St Tropez My husband and I had a great time on our private boat charter around the Bay of St. Tropez.  Matt was flexible, friendly, and took us to all of the major spots to see.  He completely catered the trip to our preferences, and gave us a great day.  Verified Terrified mother I was so frightened to go away on my own with my child but I really didn’t need to be scared. I had an A star experience with Matt. He looked after us and taught us so much on the water and out of it. He picked us up from the airport and walked us through every activity we did. I can’t thank him enough for the experiences and sights he has given us. He has made footsteps in our hearts and we will be forever grateful for that. We will definitely be visiting again. Xx

 Verified Fantastic Week Wow - what a week we had!!!The wonderful Matt had our 2 families (4 adults and 4 teenagers) wakeboarding, knee boarding, paddle boarding, snorkelling, kayaking, cliff jumping and pedaloing all week with not a single moan or groan from the teenagers. In fact, it was all whooping, laughing and asking for one more go!The tour through the Port Grimaud canals was beautiful and the day trip to the Verdons canyon was truly breathtaking. Matt was great company all week and nothing was ever too much trouble. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday to all that would enjoy adventure holidays.N,J,A,G,T,C,J & E

 Verified Day trip Absolutely fantastic day with a 19, 17 and 7 year old! Matt was awesome with Tom and Ben.....first time wakeboarding and they were up within 2 goes. Videos are their 4th attempt! He couldn’t do enough! Cruised round port Grimaud which was beautiful! Took us paddle boarding, snorkelling in millionaires bay.  Absolutely recommend

 Verified Fantastic watersport holiday We had a wonderful week of watersports with Matt in Aug 19. We are a family of 4 including 14 & 17 year olds and really enjoyed out time wakeboarding, SUP, kayaking and snorkelling. Matt is super friendly and really accommodating and flexible - he organised everything from our accommodation (which was superb) to airport transfers and activities, even driving us to the supermarket to pick up some groceries. We went wakeboarding early each morning, and this was amazing - Matt was a great instructor and always really positive (even with my husband for whom it didn’t come so naturally). The children absolutely loved it and are very keen to continue this new sport back in the UK at a wakeboard park. In the afternoons we did a different activity, such as kayaking in Port Grimaud,which was beautiful, snorkelling or a trip to a Verdon Gorge. I would happily recommend Adventure Sports and Matt whether you are looking for a whole week’s holiday or a day trip/single activity. Thanks Matt for a wonderful holiday. Joanne Baker & family.

 recommends My family and I had a great day on the water in Saint Tropez Matt taught us Wakeboarding, paddle boarding, snorkelling and we also had a brief tour and stopped off for coffee and crepes. We were all beginners, complete novices to the sport of wakeboarding Matt was very informative, patient, kind and easy going. His passion for the sport and love of the water shines through.  Verified Best Time of Our Vacation Drove to Cogolin in the morning as we were staying in Nice. The directions to the meet point were very straightforward. We met Matt in the marina and he took us to the "Venice" of in Port Grimaud - it was beautiful! We then docked there and stopped for some drinks and croissants and then went to St. Tropez, docked and walked around to see all the spots for about an hour. We then went to Millionaire's Bay and saw Brigette Bardot's house and stopped for drinks at Port Grimaud beach (get the sangria!) We had a very lovely day and definitely want to come back! Overall a great experience. We went with the itinerary Matt has listed in the posting - would recommend to do the stops on his list. Would definitely come back!

 Verified Best day of our holiday We booked with Matt and his boat for my husband’s 50th birthday and had the most amazing time. We are a family with older teenagers and a 10 year old,  plus friends who had teenagers too. The booking was really simple online and the boat was great, well kitted out with equipment; snorkels, paddle boards and even a cooler for our celebratory drinks. Matt was really friendly and welcoming, he confirmed the booking the day before, advised about parking and came to meet us in the car park to make sure we found the boat. Great communication. He was so laid back, flexible and made us feel really comfortable on the boat and with using the equipment. We went to an amazing snorkelling site with clear blue water and was able to jump and dive in from the boat. Port Grimaud was gorgeous and paddle boarding was so much fun. Matt even went out of his way to return my son’s goggles, we left on the boat, the next day. I can honestly say the whole family thought it was one of the best things we’ve ever done. Both adults and kids LOVED it.  It was worth every single penny and if we come back we will definitely be booking again. Thanks Matt

 Verified Boat charter july 9, 2019 Excellent day! Two adults and kids 12, 15 and 17 years old. Matt was very helpful on both sightseeing and as an instructor for first time on waterboard.  Verified Fun times in the bay of St. Tropez Correspondence and booking with Matt was easy. He provided all of the equipment for us and towels. We brought our own lunch and drinks to put in his cooler. It happened to be a market day in "French Venice" so we made a quick stop. We went for swim in a beautiful bay and snorkeled for a bit. Swimming in the Med is my favorite! My husband and I have wake-boarded in a lake years ago. So we decided to try it again. Matt gave us a lesson on technique, form, and how to do basic tricks (carve and jump the wake). I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for something active or just to get out on the water.

 Verified Wakeboarding, Paddle-boarding, Kayaking, Boat trips and even an England World Cup game!! A great week with Adventure Sports. Matt went out of his way to make sure i had a good time and had everything i needed for a fabulous holiday. He is one of life's 'encouragers' which is pretty good when you are trying to learn how to wakeboard!! Wakeboarding in the morning then an afternoon of kayaking round the bay, beers on the beach, Stand Up Paddleboarding down the Gorge du Verdon and we even managed to sneak in an England Women's World Cup Game in Nice and a last evening playing 'Beer Pong' in a beach bar. As a solo traveller Matt was very easy company... just like being away with your mate. Thoroughly recommend St Tropez Adventure Sports.

 recommends I have had two awesome holidays with AST now and have caught the wakeboarding bug. I love hanging out in the sunny marina, but a a trip out to the Verdon Gorge was the absolute highlight for me. Simply stunning! I couldn’t recommend a holiday with Matt highly enough.

 Verified Soul restoring Having just returned from a week's watersports holiday with Adventure St. Tropez I already cannot wait to return next year. This trip was highly recommended to me by previous guests and having not tried wakeboarding before, despite being a huge watersports fan I couldn't not go. They were right - I loved it! Despite being a solo adventurer, the weather not always being on our side and all sorts of atypical obstacles Matt was the best host who made me feel at ease from the start. It is clear he loves what he does and the joy he gets from sharing his lifestyle with others is infectious. I had a smile on my face the whole time! Nothing was too much trouble and he organised everything including transport, accommodation and all the activities, as well as evening suggestions. I didn't need to worry about a thing. All you need to bring is a laid back, give it a go attitude. Although I had not wakeboarded before and I was a little anxious, Matt's teaching and patience enabled me to get up on the first go, which was a huge surprise to me! His encouragement was unwavering. Special mention also goes to Olly, who was helping Matt out for the week. He was equally as knowledgeable and supportive, as well as being great company. The activities included wakeboarding, snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding, cliff jumping and a  village/castle tour when the weather wasn't the best! Not forgetting sampling the local food and drink of course. All of this in a truly stunning location. What more could you want from a holiday? Here is to next year...

 Verified The best holiday ever! My boyfriend and I just returned from a week with Adventure Sports St Tropez. I can honestly say it was the best holiday I have ever been on.We were initially worried that it might be a bit like forced fun but it was the complete opposite. Right from the beginning Matt is so chilled out and friendly it is like being on holiday with your friend you haven’t seen in years. The entire week was the perfect mix of chilled out, exciting, hilarious & adventure filled. Matt was consistently patient, kind and enthusiastic with every activity. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and loves to see people make progress and have a great time. I have been wakeboarding for a number of years and I made more progress that week with Matt than I have in years. My boyfriend had 0 experience and managed a few tricks before the week was up! We had already booked a different holiday for next year but we loved it that much we have now decided to squeeze in some time here again. I’m usually very ready to get home after a holiday but I was gutted to leave this time! I can’t recommend this holiday enough! I promise you won’t be bored for a second and you will have the time of your life!

 Verified The perfect holiday I've just returned from a holiday in France and the highlight was the three days with Adventure Sports Saint Tropez. I have never done any watersports before, and so was perhaps a little ambitious booking this trip, but I fancied something a little different. Matt was superb in teaching me the basics. He is extremely patient and knowledgeable. He does everything with an infectious grin and has a tale for every occasion. He very much resembles Hugh Grant in Four Weddings. In spite of the weather being beautiful, the yachts being breathtakingly huge and the entire region being stunning, Matt stood out as the star of the trip. Nothing was too much trouble - for instance when I was planning the next leg of my journey, he sorted out my transportation issues, which was a weight off my shoulders. The main water activity was wakeboarding - it strikes just the right balance between being tricky and rewarding. I struggled to get up, to start with. Matt assured me everybody struggles, and I hope he was being sincere! After a few goes though, you begin to make progress and it becomes extremely satisfying. We also tried Subwing, which was my favourite part of the trip and something I'd never heard of before. What is great about going with Adventure Sports Saint Tropez is you can try a whole range of different activities, just a few I saw off the top of my head: Wakesurfing, wakeboarding, snorkelling, kayaking, canyoning, subwinging and paddleboarding. You really won't get bored. If you are thinking about going on this type of holiday, then please do take my recommendation to book with Matt. You won't regret it.

 Verified Excellent Afternoon On St Tropez Bay We have been coming to the area for years. However, this was the first time we had taken a boat out with a skipper. Matt was great fun.The boys had a go at paddle boarding and wake boarding, while we took in the sights in of St Tropez bay from the water. Make sure you take suncream and water. It was a great experience and we will certainly book again next year!! Thanks again for a lovely afternoon

 Verified Book a trip with Matt and the team at AST I've been on a few adventure holidays over the years and I have to say this surpasses all of them.  The beautiful location helps but what makes it, is Matt. His friendly and laidback approach to activities and tuition really sets him apart from the competition. He genuinely enjoys seeing you succeed at trying something new for the first time or improving at your chosen discipline. During his first time in the water my friend was up and wakeboarding on the third attempt...thanks to Matt. He also caters for all from young families to groups of friends etc.. so all are welcome.  Verified Brilliant fun for the teenagers For this holiday the children had asked if they could do something other than the usual touristy stuff!! I found Matt on Trip adviser and Wow we were very glad we did! Matt recommended wake boarding and Sub Wing to help entertain them.  We were staying in a villa close to Cogolin so just meet up at the marina in the mornings to get the best of the calm waters.  He was brilliant with them all (ages from 15-25), calm, relaxed (which we really liked), enthusiastic and patient. They were all at different levels as some had done wake boarding before but it all worked really well and everyone got up in the end!  They loved sub wing as well. We also went up to Gorge du Verdon for a day trip - this didn't go as planned as the weather changed and we couldn't kayak or paddle board up the gorge but we still had fun there especially as no one else was there!!  Verified Unforgettable experience! I first came wakeboarding in St Tropez last year and was so impressed with my holiday I booked again! This year continued to live up to my expectations with Matt delivering a first class wakeboarding experience, supporting me patiently as I worked on my wakeboarding skills. Going out on the boat every morning is a wonderful experience and you soon pick up how to wakeboard as Matt is so encouraging every time. I grew in confidence quickly and made good progress in the time I was there.Matt knows exactly the best places to take you to ensure you experience the most beautiful parts of St Tropez. After lunch and a siesta we would be whisked off to wonderful beaches for a chance to snorkel or paddle board. Kayaking around Port Grimaud was great fun- navigating our way around the picturesque canals before stopping off to get a delicious ice cream! In the evenings we would all go out to dine at beach restaurants and Matt has a great sense of humour so would have us all in stitches with his hilarious stories. I met some really lovely people on this holiday and felt it was great value for money too. I have recommended this trip to everyone I know as it really was exactly what I was looking for... sea, sun, friends and fun!

 Verified Brilliant activity holiday with teenage kids My teenage boys (12 & 15) wanted something to 'do' on holiday. Sight seeing doesn't quite hit the spot.... But with Matt, we hit jackpot!Over the course of the week, the constant was wake boarding. Every morning, we were out on the water first thing to take advantage of calm waters. Husband and oldest son got it quite quickly and Matt challenged them to do more and more so by the end of the week they were doing jumps and turns. I was however most impressed with the way Matt helped my youngest son who struggled to get up (which he did after 4 sessions ...). Matt had everlasting patience and was a great coach. Combination of boat based instruction and jumping in to demonstrate all helped. Fantastic sense of achievement when my son found his feet so to speak!!  Afternoons were spent snorkeling, boat trips, kayaking and generally enjoying the water. It was full on!!Matt is very relaxed and that style worked really well for us. At the same time however he is skilled and gave us confidence to trust him absolutely. Generous with his time, we got much more than we expected. Knowledgeable about the area, we snorkeled on the best places to see fish, kayaked through a beautiful gorge. Only issue we had is that we were so busy enjoying ourselves that we didn't take enough photos!!Boys are already asking to return and I'm sure we will.

 Verified Amazing Family Day Out - Highly Recommended Matt is an amazing host. He couldn't do enough for us. We spent the whole afternoon on his boat (2 families with 4 children under 6). He showed us round three different ports before anchoring in a delightful bay where we took part in paddle boarding and snorkeling, And then he challenged the Dad's to take part in sub-boarding, which they loved! He made us feel very relaxed and welcome on his boat. He was brilliant with the kids and also raced us on his paddle boards. I couldn't recommend the experience highly enough. If you are looking for something fun to do then get in touch with Matt he can offer loads of different water based activities tailored to your needs.

 recommends Absolutely incredible experience, both relaxing on the boat and excitement of Wakeboarding.  The new Subwing is really cool, you can swim like a fish!  I went with friends last year & had a blast.  This year I took my daughter (14) & she loved it too, particularly being on the boat.  I have no hesitation in recommending this to almost anyone, especially those keen to learn Wakeboarding.  Matt is a very encouraging & supportive teacher, absolutely no pressure, just fun.
